2024︎This figure was created from driftwood that was left by the shores of the Varjakka island from back in the sawmill-days. The wood has previously been collected and engraved with the names of late sawmill workers, now reimagined as a collective body to live on virtually in places such as Taikabox’s online fishing hut / exhibition space as well as through AR installations, 3D rendered projections and VR.
